Custom Business Software

Software designed around your workflow.

Standard software asks your team to change how they work. We start from proven product cores and adapt them to your business. You get your own codebase on your own server, and it changes only when you decide.

Why it matters

Why standard software may not fit

Off-the-shelf products are built for the average customer. That works for many businesses, but it falls short when your process is what makes you competitive.

Your process is the advantage

How you quote, plan production or serve customers may be the reason customers choose you. Forcing it into a template removes that edge.

Workarounds pile up

When software doesn't fit, teams fall back on Excel, paper and WhatsApp, and the system stops being a reliable record.

Updates you didn't ask for

Shared platforms change on the vendor's schedule. A redesign can break a workflow your team relies on every day.

Paying for what you don't use

Large suites charge for modules and complexity designed for someone else's business.

How we work

From your process to your software

description

We document your existing process

We spend time with the people who do the work and collect the documents they use, such as job cards, challans, quotations, registers and spreadsheets. The result is a written map of your process, which you review and approve.

rule

We decide what to customise

We compare your process with our product cores. Where our standard workflow already fits, we use it. Where your way of working is different and valuable, we customise. Where something adds no value, we leave it out.

draw

We design and validate with you

You see the screens, fields and calculations with your own sample data before go-live. Changes are cheap at this stage, so we make sure it is right before your team depends on it.

Architecture

What every client receives

The infrastructure and ownership included with every MaithilOps and MaithilCRM system.

Client A Your business Client B
Your codebase Your server Your database
  • code

    Your own codebase

A separate code repository for your business, created from our product core and then customised. Your changes never appear in another client's system.

  • dns

    Your own server

Your system runs on its own cloud server (VPS). It does not share computing resources with other clients.

  • database

    Your own database

Your data is stored in a database used only by your company.

  • language

    Your own address

Your system is reached at its own web address, secured with HTTPS.

  • backup

    Daily backups

Your database is backed up automatically every day, so it can be restored if needed.

  • key

    Your data, your custom code

Your data belongs to you and can be exported at any time. Code written specifically for you is yours, as set out in our terms.

Releases

How customer-specific changes are managed

Your logic stays in your codebase. Business rules written for you, such as pricing, approvals, calculations and document formats, live in your repository and are recorded in its history.

Changes happen when you ask. You request a change, we confirm the scope and cost, and we release it at a time agreed with you. Nothing is changed on our schedule.

Improvements are offered, not imposed. When we improve our product core, we tell you what changed. You decide whether to take it into your system.

Security fixes are the exception. If a critical security issue affects your system, we patch it promptly and tell you what was done.

Quality

How we prevent, detect and fix bugs

Every software system has defects from time to time. Our process is designed to keep them rare, find them early and fix them quickly.

  1. 1

    Prevent

Automated tests cover the core workflows, and every change is reviewed before it is merged.

  2. 2

    Check

Changes are tested against your workflows on a separate copy of your system before release.

  3. 3

    Release safely

Releases are scheduled with you, and the previous version is kept ready to restore if needed.

  4. 4

    Resolve

If something does go wrong, you report it directly to our engineers and we fix it as a priority.

Shared SaaS is the right choice for many businesses. A dedicated system makes sense when your process is specific and stability matters more than the lowest monthly price.

Running your system

Hosting, backups, security and maintenance

We don't hand over software and disappear. We run it, look after it and keep it secure for as long as you use it.

Describe your process and where it breaks down. We will recommend a product, a customised build or another option, whichever suits you best.
